Why "gluefox"?

Congratulations! You are one of the very few, who will ever know from where the name "gluefox" emanates. When my Goddaughter, who is half Canadian and speaks both Swedish and English, was around 6 years old, she used to call me "Mr Gluefox". The Swedish word for "glue" is "klister", which sounds very similar to my first name, Krister. My last name, Renard, is the French word for "fox" (my ancestors came from France). "gluefox" thus means Klister Fox, i.e. "Krister Renard". Playing with words like that, seems to me at least, as rather advanced for a six year old girl!

Why is my Internet domain then called gluefox.com? Well, the reason is that domains like renard.com, renard.se and many others I tried already were taken. Then I started to play around with gluefox.se, gluefox.com and similar, as I guessed that no one had thought about such a farfetched name as gluefox. And I was right. Many people have told me that they think gluefox.com sounds rather professional and is easy to remember. So now you know.
